The Best 2020 AFC Champions League XI announced! 


Kuala Lumpur: After several weeks of polling, we now have our Best XI of the 2020 AFC Champions League, voted by you, the fans! Check out who came out on top!

It will come as no surprise that several Persepolis players made up the fans Best XI, as their run to the final inspired their supporters.

Below are the 11 players voted by the public on the-AFC.com, while an XI based on Stats Perform's statistics included as a comparison.

Persepolis's Hamed Lak, voted the winner of Asia’s Choice – Best AFC Champions League Player of 2020, captured the imagination of the fans as he confidently stood between the posts for the Islamic Republic of Iran champions.

Lak only conceded four goals - three from the penalty spot and the fourth off a spot-kick rebound - and his performances saw the custodian garnering more than 120,000 votes.

And we complete our list with Ulsan Hyundai's Júnior Negrão, who scored seven goals as the Korea Republic club lifted the AFC Champions League trophy for the second time with Negrão scoring both in their 2-1 win over Persepolis.
