Chiangrai United part ways with head coach Masami Taki

Chiangrai: Head coach Masami Taki has left Chiangrai United FC, just weeks before the Thai side resume their 2020 AFC Champions League campaign.

The Japanese tactician, who replaced Ailton Silva as head coach, was reported to have not renewed his contract which expires at the end of November.

First team coach Alongkorn Thongaum and Emerson Pereira Da Silva have taken over the reins temporarily with Chiangrai defeating Police Tero FC on Wednesday in their first Thai League 1 fixture since Taki’s departure.
