DPR Korea's Han Kwang-song joins Al Duhail

Doha: Qatar League outfit Al Duhail announced on Wednesday that DPR Korea national team forward Han Kwang-song will join the team from Italian champions Juventus.


The 21-year-old player will join the six-time league champions as the Asian player to replace Iraq international forward Mohanad Ali, who will be loaned out five months after joining the team.

Han spent the last three years in Italy as he started his professional career with Cagliari in 2017 before having two loan spells with Perugia and the Juventus U23 side that plays in the third division.

He was part of the DPR Korea national team squad that took part in the AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019 while he has also featured in the Asian Qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar and AFC Asian Cup China 2023, scoring his first international goal in the 3-1 defeat to Turkmenistan in November.
