India's FC Goa create ACL history
Jamshedpur: FC Goa secured a place in the 2021 AFC Champions League group stage after winning the 2019-20 Indian Super League (ISL) title on Wednesday.
Goa, who will be the first club from India to feature in the AFC champions League, also secured the first-ever ISL League Winners Shield after defeating Jamshedpur FC 5-0 in their final league match on Wednesday.
The AFC Champions League will be expanded in 2021, with 40 teams to play in the group stage from the present 32.

Ferran Corominas (11th), Hugo Boumous (70th, 90th), Jackichand Singh (84th) and Mourtada Fall (87th) made it a five-star affair for Goa at the JRD Sports Complex on Wednesday.
They also broke their own record and ended the league stage with 46 goals - an all-time high. The win ensured that Goa finished the league stage as toppers with 39 points from 18 matches.
Goa will now aim to cap their remarkable season by maintaining their form in the ISL Play-offs with the newly-crowned winners set to take on the fourth-placed team.
