Yahya Golmohammadi named Persepolis head coach
Tehran: Yahya Golmohammadi has been named Persepolis FC head coach, replacing Argentine Gabriel Calderon.
Golmohammadi, 49, takes charge of the Tehran giants from Shahr Khodro.
It will be Golmohammadi's second stint with Persepolis and he takes charge of a team who lead the Iranian Pro League by three points.

A former Persepolis star, Golmohammadi played for them for seven seasons and is also a former Islamic Republic of Iran international.
His coaching career has also seen him in charge of Tractor Sazi, Nassaji, Zobahan and Naft Tehran.
Persepolis will also be counting on Golmohammadi to 2020 AFC Champions League glory, with the Iranian champions in Group C with Qatar's Al Duhail, Al Taawoun of Saudi Arabia and Sharjah of the UAE.
