Sultan Al Ghannam

Doha: After an exciting pair of 2020 AFC Champions League (WEST) quarter-finals on Wednesday, OPTA, the official data provider for the Asian Football Confederation, has announced the candidates for the latest Toyota Player of the Week.

Check out the eight nominees and vote for your favourite at the bottom of the article.

Sultan Al Ghannam (3)

Al Nassr right-back Sultan Al Ghannam (above, left) gained the highest score in the OPTA ratings with the Saudi Arabia international earning a 7.9 rating for his efforts, which included a fine cross to set up Abdulfattah Asiri for his side's all-important second in the 2-0 win over Al Ahli Saudi FC.

The 26-year-old was a constant threat down the right, with his seven crosses more than any of his teammates and three chances created the highest number of anyone on the pitch as the Riyadh giants reached the AFC Champions League semi-finals for the first time.

Siamak Nemati

Siamak Nemati (above) came next in OPTA's standings after yet another energetic display down the Persepolis FC right. The highlight was a lovely low cross for Isa Al Kasir's opener in the 2-0 victory over Pakhtakor which saw the Iranian side return to the semi-finals for the third time in four years.

In a display that earned the Tehran native a 7.5 rating, Nemati also posted a passing accuracy of 91%, sent three crosses into the box and won four duels in what was an all-round excellent performance.

Pity Martinez

Scorer of Al Nassr's first, Pity Martinez (above) gained an OPTA rating of 7.4 after the Argentine scored his first AFC Champions League goal as he played just off the Riyadh side's main marksman Abderrazak Hamdallah.

The former River Plate man was heavily involved, with 49 touches in the 71 minutes he was on the pitch as well as two shots on goal and an impressive passing accuracy of 86%.

Restored to the Persepolis starting line-up, Kamal Kamyabinia (below) was typically assured in the centre of midfield, with his 75 passes at (96% accuracy) a Matchday high, while he also won seven of his 11 duels and two of his three tackles, earning a 7.4 rating.

Kamal Kamyabinia

After being nominated following the Round of 16 fixtures, Al Nassr's Awad Khamis returns once more with a rating of 7.1. The left-back had more touches (69) than any of his teammates, made 43 passes and won three duels.

Also registering a 7.1 rating, Khamis' teammate Abdullah Madu comes next with the centre-back excellent in the heart of defence in a performance that saw him make six clearances and four interceptions as well as win three of his four duels.

Rounding off the quarter-final standout players is a third Al Nassr player who scored 7.1, Abdulmajeed Al Sulaiheem, and Persepolis' two-goal hero Isa Al Kasir who previously won the fans' vote for the Round of 16 Toyota Player of the Week.
