Thiago Cunha – Chonburi
vs Al Shorta, September 26, 2012

Taking you all the way back to the 2012 quarter-finals for our first entrant and the first goal of a Thiago Cunha hat-trick that ultimately saw Thailand's Chonburi overcome Iraq's Al Shorta to reach the semi-finals.

When the ball breaks to the quick-thinking Brazilian 40 yards from goal, he looks up and sends a delightful effort that sails over the stranded goalkeeper Mahmoud Karkar. Thiago added two more in extra-time as the Thais advanced 5-4 on aggregate.

Badhri Radzi – Kelantan
vs SHB Da Nang, April 2, 2013

To Malaysia for our next candidate which sees Kelantan's Badhri Radzi rub salt into SHB Da Nang's wounds by rounding off a 5-0 group stage victory in style.

The Vietnamese goalkeeper does well to thwart the onrushing Dmitri Petratos but can do nothing as Badhri sends the rebound high over his head and into the back of the net.

Kyaw Ko Ko – Yangon United
vs Kelantan, February 26, 2014

With a goal that oozes quality from start to finish, Yangon United star Kyaw Ko Ko is next on the list and this time it's Kelantan on the receiving end with what was the first of the striker's three goals in a 5-3 win.

Patient build-up play sees the ball eventually fall to Cesar in the box and when the Brazilian's neat roll-back presents Kyaw Ko Ko with a shooting opportunity, the Myanmar international nonchalantly dinks it up and over Khairul Fahmi.

Bienvenido Marañón – Ceres Negros
vs Yangon United, May 9, 2018

Bienvenido Marañón is the AFC Cup's all-time leading scorer and it's fair to say of his 35 goals in the competition that few will have been as good as this one against Yangon United in the 2018 ASEAN Zonal semi-finals.

Mike Ott threads a lovely pass into Maranon's path and when the Spaniard gets inside the area he chips a perfectly weighted effort over the goalkeeper to open the scoring in a 4-2 win.

Pak Myong-song – 4.25 SC
vs Home United, August 21, 2018

DPR Korea's 4.25 SC may have eventually eased to an 11-1 aggregate victory in this Inter-Zone semi-final but the first leg against Home United was still goalless in Singapore when Pak Myong-song produced a moment of magic.

Surrounded by defenders and seemingly heading nowhere, Pak creates a yard of space for himself and, from the narrowest of angles, sends a curling, dipping effort beyond the outstretched Eko Pradana.
