Taking you back to 2014 for our first entry and what a moment it was for Persipura Jayapura, who were appearing in the semi-finals for the first time and were given real hope when Titus Bonai levelled the scores away at Qadsia SC in the first leg.

Bonai cuts inside his marker and curls a beauty beyond the Kuwaiti custodian before his acrobatic celebrations lived up to his wonder-strike. The Indonesians went 2-1 up but ultimately crumbled, losing 10-2 on aggregate.


Yasir Hanapi – Tampines Rovers
vs Selangor, May 10, 2016

With Singapore's Tampines Rovers needing a win against Malaysian rivals Selangor in their final group stage game to advance to the 2016 knockout rounds, Yasir Hanapi produced a moment of magic.

From the edge of the area, Hanapi curls an inch-perfect effort into the top right corner to give 'keeper Khairulazhan Khalid no chance with a goal that ultimately sealed a 1-0 win and a place in the next round.


Sunil Chhetri – Bengaluru FC
vs Johor Darul Ta'zim, October 19, 2016

One of the finest nights in Bengaluru FC's history was lit up by a standout display from their star man Sunil Chettri, who bagged a brace as the Indian side disposed of defending champions Johor Darul Ta'zim to advance to the final.

With the aggregate scores level, Chhetri receives the ball on the edge of the area, creates space for himself and then arcs a superlative strike into the top corner for his second of the night in a 3-1 win.


To Van Vu – Becamex Binh Duong
vs Persija Jakarta, May 1, 2019

To Van Vu made a habit of scoring spectacular goals in 2019 and none were better than this unstoppable effort that put Becamex Binh Duong two up against Persija Jakarta.

Van Vu cuts inside from the left, shifts the ball into a shooting position before sending a wicked curling effort beyond Indonesian international Andritany Ardhiyasa in the Persija goal.

Altymyrat Annadurdyyev – Altyn Asyr
vs FC Istiklol, June 26, 2019

Altymyrat Annadurdyyev has consistently produced the goods as Turkmenistan's Altyn Asyr have risen to prominence in the AFC Cup in recent years. Here's a taste of just what he can do.

The forward receives the ball on the edge of the area and then whips it up and over Nikola Stosic in the FC Istiklol goal to put his side a goal to the good in a 1-1 draw that saw Altyn Asyr advance to the knockout rounds.
