Singapore: Tampines Rovers of Singapore defeated Myanmar's Shan United FC 2-1 in a 2020 AFC Cup Group H tie at the Jurong West Stadium on Tuesday.
Tampines wasted several chances in the first half before goals from Boris Kopitovic and Jordan Webb sealed the win for the Singapore side.
Gavin Lee's men sit on top of Group H with seven points, while Shan United are bottom following three consecutive defeats.

Tampines showed promise early on with an effort in the third minute from Shah Sahiran, who should have done better as he angled his shot wide from inside the box.
The home side kept up the pressure but Webb, who was instrumental in Tampines’ 2-1 win over PSM Makassar on Matchday One, could not find the target on 15 minutes after connecting well from Kyoga Nakamura’s delivery.
Tampines almost broke the deadlock a minute later when Nakamura’s clever pass found Zehrudin Mehmedovic inside the box but the Serbian’s powerful effort was deflected by Shan United custodian Thiha Si Thu.
Shan United came to life in the 21st minute when Yakubu Abudbakar initiated a fast break which sent David Htan surging down the centre but the right back-fired his long-range effort just wide.
Shan United wasted a rare goalscoring opportunity in the 35th minute when Abudbakar surged down the left before timing his cross perfectly for Htan who, however, misfired his volley from close range.
Shortly after, there were missed opportunities at both ends as Shahiran and Amirul Adli wasted goalscoring chances for Tampines while Abudbakar saw his 41st minute effort for Shan United saved.
Webb almost put Tampines in front after the restart but could only find the side netting after he lost his marker inside the box before firing from an acute angle.
But the goal eventually arrived on 55 minutes when Irwan Shah’s cross found Kopitovic, who nodded home from close range.
Shan United's inability to keep possession cost them dearly in the 71st minute when Webb finished off a slick counter-attacking move which started with Kopitovic's surging run from the right flank.
There was, however, to be a consolation for Shan United with Hein Phyo Win scoring in added time.
The two sides will meet again on April 15.
