PSM came into the second leg tie brimming with confidence after having beaten Lalenok 4-1 a week ago and with home ground advantage at the Pakansari Stadium, opened the scoring through Giancarlo Rodrigues in the sixth minute.

Ferdinand Sinaga doubled the score with his fourth goal in two games in the 29th minute but PSM suffered a setback five minutes later as skipper Wiljan Pluim was shown a second yellow.

In the 58th minute, PSM suffered another setback when Arfan was shown a direct red card, and Lalenok took advantage of it with Paulo Freitas finding the back of the net two minutes later.

It was, however, mere consolation as PSM's Irsyad sealed their victory five minutes from time.
