Bangkok: Port FC of Thailand and Uzbekistan’s AGMK FC are primed for a thrilling encounter in the AFC Futsal Club Championship Thailand 2019 quarter-finals at the Bangkok Arena on Wednesday.

The hosts, who are vying for their maiden title, will be aiming to surpass their 2010 feat of finishing fourth in the tournament.

Port FC have kept three clean sheets in the competition and their only blemish was conceding once in their 4-1 win over China PR’s Shenzhen Nanling Tielang.

Head coach Udom Taveesuk is confident of Port FC’s ability to defeat Shenzhen but admitted his players will have to work hard to beat a tough AGMK side.

“We will be up against a good AGMK side tomorrow. Most of their players are from the Uzbekistan national team who have good teamwork and will be a tough team to beat."
