Group A features 2018 runners-up Myanmar, who are aiming for their first title since 2005, with Laos their opening opponents on Tuesday.

Indonesia, champions in 2013, will be counting on the talented brothers Amiruddin Bagus Alfikri and Amiruddin Bagas Arriziqi, who shone at the AFC U-16 Championship last year, to better their third-place finish of 2018.

Timor-Leste, making their eighth appearance in the competition, will face Indonesia in their opening match on Tuesday.

Brunei Darussalam and the Philippines will be seeking to advance past the group stage for the first time and this will spur them in Group A.
