Uzbekistan 2020 cast finalised

Kuala Lumpur: Iraq sealed a place in the AFC U-19 Championship Uzbekistan 2020 Finals after winning Group A on Saturday.


Iraq joined Qatar (Group B), Tajikistan (Group C), Islamic Republic of Iran (Group D), Bahrain (Group E), Saudi Arabia (Group F), Malaysia (Group G), Australia (Group H), Korea Republic (Group I), Japan (Group J) and Indonesia (Group K) as the group winners to advance.

Laos (Group H), Vietnam (Group J), Yemen (Group B) and Cambodia (Group G) advanced to the 2020 Finals as the best four runners-up, with hosts Uzbekistan completing the 16-team cast. It will be Cambodia's first appearance in the Finals in 45 years.

Saudi Arabia are the defending champions and the 2020 Finals will be played on October 14-31, with the top four teams sealing qualification to the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2021.
