Buriram: UAE head coach Maciej Skorza is focused on recovery ahead of his side’s decisive AFC U23 Championship Thailand 2020 Group D clash against Jordan on Thursday.
The Whites currently top the group with four points from a goalless draw against Vietnam and a 2-0 victory over DPR Korea, meaning a point against Jordan is all they need to advance to the quarter-finals.

Bangkok: Vietnam head coach Park Hang-seo wants to end his side’s group stage on a high even as they know their fate is out of their hands ahead of their final AFC U23 Championship Thailand 2020 Group D fixture against DPR Korea on Thursday.
Vietnam travelled to Bangkok for their last group game in the knowledge that should UAE and Jordan play out a score draw, the outcome of their game against already-eliminated DPR Korea would be rendered irrelevant and the 2018 runners-up would exit at the first stage.

Buriram: Ali Saleh admits United Arab Emirates must sharpen up their finishing after securing three points against DPR Korea in Group D of the AFC U23 Championship Thailand 2020 on Monday.
After a goalless draw against Vietnam on Matchday One, UAE took just 17 minutes to find the back of the net through Khalifa Al Hammadi before Zayed Al Ameri doubled their lead to seal the victory.
The result at Buriram Stadium left UAE with four points in Group D, on level terms with Jordan, who settled for a 0-0 draw against Vietnam.

Buriram: Jordan head coach Ahmed Abu Ismail expressed his disappointment with his side’s goalless draw against Vietnam on Matchday Two of the AFC U23 Championship Thailand 2020 Group D on Monday.
Coming off the back of a 2-1 win against DPR Korea, Jordan were in complete control throughout the first hour of the Vietnam tie, but were unable to take their chances.
The introduction of Ha Duc Chinh in the second half offered Vietnam renewed energy in front, but Abu Ismail’s men weathered a late avalanche of attacks to hold on for a 0-0 draw and collect their fourth point of the campaign.

Coach Ahmed Abu Ismail made one change to his Jordan XI that defeated DPR Korea in the opening match, starting Ihab Ali instead of Mohammed Bani Atieh. Meanwhile, Tran Thanh Son replaced Huynh Tan Sinh in coach Park Hang-seo’s Vietnam line-up.

Buriram: Two first-half goals from Khalifa Al Hammadi and Zayed Al Ameri helped the United Arab Emirates cruise to a 2-0 victory over DPR Korea at Buriram Stadium on Monday, eliminating the East Asians from the AFC U23 Championship Thailand 2020.
Coming off the back of a defeat by Jordan in their opening game, DPR Korea needed at least a point to keep their qualification hopes alive in the Group D contest.
