Match officials for FIFA U-17 World Cup Brazil 2019 appointed
Sao Paulo: With less than three months to go before the FIFA U-17 World Cup Brazil 2019 kicks off, the FIFA Referees Committee has appointed 20 trios of match officials, five Support Referees and 17 Video Assistant Referees (VARs), representing all six Confederations.
Twelve Asian officials have been appointed for the tournament, with the contingent led by referees Khamis Al Marri from Qatar, Australia's Chris Beath and China PR's Ma Ning.

They will be assisted by Qatar's Mohammad Dharman and Ramzan Al Naemi, Australians Anton Shchetinin and Ashley Beecham as well as China PR's Shi Xiang and Cao Yi.
In addition, United Arab Emirates' Yaqoub Yousuf Qasem Hasan Alhammadi, Abdulla Ali Al-Marri of Qatar and Japan's Hiroyuki Kimura (pictured below) have been named among the VARs for this competition.
The FIFA U-17 World Cup Brazil 2019 will take place in Brasilia (Gama), Goiania and Vitoria (Cariacica) between October 26 and November 17. The final will be played at the Estadio Bezerrao in Brasilia on 17 November.
