Join as we take a look at how Groups E to H currently stand and don't forget to tell us who you think will advance to the third round of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Qualifiers in the polls below.

Group E

FIFA World Cup 2022 hosts Qatar top Group E with only a 0-0 draw with India blemishing their record across their six games and Felix Sanchez’s side lead Oman by four points as the Gulf pair dominate proceedings ahead of Afghanistan, India and Bangladesh.

MD2 - Group E: Qatar vs India

With Qatar having already qualified for the Finals as hosts, Oman will fancy their chances of advancing to the third round of the Qualifiers as they sit in second.

With three matches remaining, including against Qatar at home, Oman have a great chance although the FIFA World Cup 2022 hosts widened their lead at the top with a 5-0 win against Bangladesh on December 4 in a rearranged fixture.

Group F

Japan are in a strong position in Group F, having beaten all of their opponents to hold a five-point lead over Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan despite the East Asians having played one match less.

MD5 - Group F: Kyrgyz Republic vs Japan

Hajime Moriyasu’s team look set to clinch top spot in the group, leaving Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Myanmar and Mongolia to battle it out for second place, which could mean a place in the third round of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Qualifiers.

Group G

Vietnam are in the driver’s seat as they hold a two-point lead over Malaysia in a fascinating Group G where five points separate the first four teams. Park Hang-seo’s side hold top spot with 11 points, with Malaysia on nine and Thailand a further point behind.

MD3 - Group G: Vietnam vs Malaysia

The United Arab Emirates, meanwhile, are fourth in the group with six points but the FIFA World Cup 1990 qualifiers have a game in hand over the teams above them and a win over Malaysia in their next game would pull the West Asians back into the reckoning.

Group H

Korea Republic’s quest to extend their record of consecutive FIFA World Cup appearances to double figures remains alive, even as Paulo Bento’s side sit in second place in Group H behind Turkmenistan.

The Taeguk Warriors are a point behind the Central Asian nation but have played one game fewer, with the two countries due to face off in the next match day. Korea Republic currently have eight points and share that total with Lebanon and DPR Korea who, like Turkmenistan, have played five times.

*Polls end at 16:00 (UTC+8) on November 24.
