Kuala Lumpur: AFC General Secretary Dato’ Alex Soosay wished AFC's staff Merry Christmas as the continental football body's secretariat celebrated the occasion on Monday.
"This is a wonderful time indeed to get together and appreciate one another’s communities and cultures,” said Dato’ Alex at the colourful gathering at AFC House in Kuala Lumpur. “May the occasion bring peace and success to everyone.”
Dato’ Alex has also called on all AFC staff to use the festive season to come closer and forge a stronger working relationship in facing the challenges in the upcoming new year.
“This gathering today shows that we are a family who works together for our common goals,” he said.
“I hope all of us would put our minds and hearts together and work hard in the face of next year’s challenges for future success.”
