AFC President praises Asian teams at FIFA U-20 World Cup

Kuala Lumpur: Asian Football Confederation (AFC) President Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa has commended the performance of Asian teams at the FIFA U-20 World Cup Argentina 2023.

The quartet of Iraq, Japan, Korea Republic and Uzbekistan flew the Continent’s flag at the 23rd edition of the tournament from May 20 to June 11, showcasing their abilities as Asian football continued to make its mark on the global stage.
