Kuala Lumpur: As we pay tribute to the ever-expanding role of women in Asian football, it gives me great honour and privilege to welcome all of you to celebrate the AFC Women’s Football Day 2022 on March 8, in conjunction with the International Women’s Day. 

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) remains resolute in our commitment to advocate and champion the contributions of women towards our beautiful game and never has there been a time in our proud history when the results have been so overwhelming.

Jamshedpur FC win first ISL Winner's Shield

Goa: Ritwik Das was the hero as Jamshedpur FC defeated ATK Mohun Bagan 1-0 to lift the Indian Super League Winner’s Shield in Goa on Monday.

It was a historic victory for the Red Miners as they lifted the Shield for the first time in their history.

Victory was well deserved as it came on the back of a run of a record seven successive wins, which helped them amass a total 43 points - the highest in the tournament's history.
