Kuala Lumpur or KL, as it is popularly known, is the capital and the largest city of Malaysia.
Located at the confluence of the Klang and Gombak rivers, this modern and bustling city has the world’s tallest twin towers - Petronas Twin Towers – and Menara Kuala Lumpur, the world's fifth tallest telecommunications tower.
The city has a rich cultural and historical heritage and the federal administration centre is housed away from the hustle and bustle of busy Kuala Lumpur in Putrajaya.
Its Sepang International Circuit hosts the F1 Malaysian Grand Prix and MotoGP each year while the city has also played hosts to the 1998 Commonwealth Games.
