Seoul: The Asian Football Confederation’s (AFC) ongoing efforts to enhance the capabilities of its Member Associations were further emphasised at the Korean Football Association (KFA) on Monday with a security workshop conducted by the AFC Stadium Safety and Security Unit.
The workshop, the first of its kind conducted by the AFC, included 25 Security Officers from the first and second tiers of Korea Republic’s K League and outlined the roles and responsibilities of club security offers.
In line with AFC Club Licensing protocol, security officers from clubs due to participate in the AFC Champions League in 2018 were engaged in order to raise the quality of the competition, and ensure integrated safety, security and services throughout the event.
