Kuala Lumpur: Leading experts and distinguished visionaries of Asian and world football are poised to take the stage at the highly anticipated inaugural AFC Member Associations (MAs) & Regional Associations (RAs) Presidents’ and General Secretaries’ Conference 2023 in Uzbekistan’s capital city of Tashkent from October 7 to 8. 

The prestigious event, will see the Presidents of the MAs and RAs of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) joining their respective General Secretaries for the first time on a platform, which brings together the passion, knowledge, and expertise of football’s foremost figures to explore avenues for further growth and development.

AFC Champions League™ paves way for PMAs to realise VAR ambitions

Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC)’s continuous efforts to empower its Member Associations (MAs) reached a significant milestone when the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system was introduced to the AFC Champions League™ 2023/24 Group Stage matches for the first time earlier this week. 

Implemented from the Knockout Stage since 2020, the 2023/2024 edition will mark the fourth instance of the AFC employing the use of the technology in the competition.
