First-ever AFC Social Responsibility Toolkit to further elevate impact of community programmes

Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) today launched the AFC Social Responsibility Toolkit as part of its long-standing commitment to bring about beneficial change by harnessing the power of football. 

The Toolkit, the first of its kind to be developed by the AFC, is designed specifically for the AFC’s Member Associations (MAs) and Regional Associations (RAs) to elevate their capacities in delivering impactful Social Responsibility (SR) programmes.

ANFA football clinics provide meaningful experiences for underprivileged children

Madhesh: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC)’s mission to use the beautiful game to impact underprivileged children continued recently in Nepal, where 400 excited boys and girls from one of its most remote provinces participated in football clinics and daily educational sessions.

Organised by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) and supported by the AFC Dream Asia Foundation (ADAF), the first phase of the ANFA Football Clinic for Underprivileged Children in Madhesh province kicked off this January in five sites simultaneously over two days. The clinics will continue in seven more provincial sites, taking the number up to 12 for this initial phase.

Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Dream Asia Foundation’s determination to expand the reach of the Confederation’s social development ambitions was further underlined today at the second Board of Trustees (BoT) meeting held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Chairperson HRH Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al Faisal was pleased to note the AFC’s continued commitment, as underlined in its Vision and Mission, to uplift and empower the Continent’s most vulnerable communities.

SAFF hosts Safeguarding in Football Seminar 2023 in Nepal

Kathmandu: The South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) hosted the SAFF Safeguarding in Football Seminar 2023 with the support of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) in Kathmandu, Nepal in August 2023. 

The seminar brought together safeguarding officers of the Bangladesh Football Federation, Bhutan Football Federation, All India Football Federation, Football Association of Maldives and the Pakistan Football Federation.
