AFC Women’s Football Day celebration returns for 8th edition

Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and its Member Associations (MAs) will celebrate the 8th AFC Women’s Football Day today as football competitions and activities continue to make a return in the Continent.

Coinciding with the International Women’s Day, 39 MAs will join the annual celebrations with fun-filled football activities focused on promoting the sport across Asia in a safe and conducive environment.

Jamshedpur FC win first ISL Winner's Shield

Goa: Ritwik Das was the hero as Jamshedpur FC defeated ATK Mohun Bagan 1-0 to lift the Indian Super League Winner’s Shield in Goa on Monday.

It was a historic victory for the Red Miners as they lifted the Shield for the first time in their history.

Victory was well deserved as it came on the back of a run of a record seven successive wins, which helped them amass a total 43 points - the highest in the tournament's history.
