Capas: A first-half strike from An Jae-jun gave FC Pohang Steelers a hard-fought 1-0 win over Kaya FC-Iloilo in their AFC Champions League Two 2025/26™ Group H tie on Thursday.

Pohang finished second in the standings with 13 points, three adrift of Singapore’s Tampines Rovers, who claimed top spot with Kaya rooted at the bottom with no points below BG Pathum United of Thailand.

Pathum Thani: Tampines Rovers FC capped an impressive AFC Champions League Two 2025/26™ Group H campaign with a 2-0 win against BG Pathum United on Thursday.

The win took Noh Rahman’s side to 16 points and kept their unbeaten run going, finishing three points clear of Korea Republic’s FC Pohang Steelers in second spot.

Suita: Gamba Osaka closed their AFC Champions League Two 2025/26™ Group F campaign with a perfect record after defeating Ratchaburi FC 2-0 at the Suita City Football Stadium on Thursday.

Second half goals from Gaku Nawata and substitute Ryoya Yamashita gave head coach Daniel Poyatos a memorable send-off in his last match in charge, with the Japanese already qualifying for the knockout stage with two games to spare. 

Thailand’s Ratchaburi qualified ahead of Vietnam’s Nam Dinh FC by scoring more goals - 15 to 14, in their six matches after both sides finished with nine points.

Group F: Nam Dinh FC (VIE) 9-0 Eastern FC (HKG)

Nam Dinh: Nam Dinh handed Eastern FC an 9-0 defeat at Thien Truong Stadium in Group F of the AFC Champions League Two 2025/26™ on Thursday but the margin of victory was not enough to take the Vietnamese side into the knockout rounds.

Brazilian striker Brenner scored a hat-trick while Romulo netted twice and Caio Cesar, Kevin Pham Ba and Ly Cong Hoang Anh were on target before Leung Chun Pong’s late own goal but the win was not enough to overhaul Ratchaburi to finish second in the standings.
 
Ratchaburi’s 2-0 loss to already-qualified Gamba Osaka means the Thai League 1 side advance in second place ahead of Mauro Jeronimo’s side having scored more goals than Nam Dinh, who exit the competition alongside Eastern.

Kuala Lumpur:  Japan remained Asia’s highest-ranked side after consolidating eighth place in the latest FIFA Women’s World Ranking released on Thursday.

Uzbekistan recorded the highest jump, moving three spots to 49, having posted back-to-back wins against Islamic Republic of Iran and the Philippines. 

Palestine (126th) also impressed  during the international friendly windows.
