Ras Al Khaimah: Al Nasr moved up to third in the 2011/12 UAE Pro League standings on Wednesday with a comfortable 3-1 away win over bottom-of-the-table Emirates.
The 2012 AFC Champions League Group C side took a 13th minute lead through former Lazio midfielder Mark Bresciano before Nigerian Orok Akarandut drew the home side level 12 minutes later.
Former Paris Saint Germain striker Amara Diane, who joined Al Nasr last year after stints in Qatar with Al Rayyan and Al Gharafa, reclaimed the visitors' lead in the 66th minute before Habib Fardan sealed the win with quarter-of-an-hour left to play.
Al Nasr make their AFC Champions League debut on March 7 when they travel to Iran to face experienced continental campaigners Sepahan, ACL runners-up in 2007.
