F Marinos' Muscat, Jeonbuk's Kim satisfied with final finish
Ho Chi Minh City: Yokohama F Marinos head coach Kevin Muscat and Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors counterpart Kim Sang-sik expressed satisfaction with their respective teams after playing to a 1-1 draw in Group H of the AFC Champions League™ on Sunday.
The result meant F Marinos finished top on 13 points, one ahead of Jeonbuk who had, however, already confirmed their Round of 16 spot ahead of the match.

Ho Chi Minh City: Japan’s Yokohama F Marinos confirmed themselves as winners of Group H of the AFC Champions League™ 2022 on Sunday as a 1-1 draw with Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in Ho Chi Minh meant both teams advanced to the Round of 16.
Kevin Muscat’s side claimed top spot in the group with 13 points, one ahead of a Jeonbuk side who secured a runners-up berth in the next round of the competition with the result ending Melbourne City’s slim hopes of taking one of the second place spots.

The Brazilian struck six minutes before halftime to secure a third place finish for Kiatisuk Senamuang’s team and leave the Australians bottom of the standings at the end of a demanding 16 days.
HAGL moved onto five points from their six games, three more than Sydney while Yokohama F Marinos and Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors will meet later in the day to determine who finishes top of the standings.
