Riyadh: Al Hilal striker Bafetimbi Gomis has likened his club to Spanish giants Real Madrid as the two-time Asian champions prepare to take on Urawa Red Diamonds in the first leg of the 2019 AFC Champions League final.
The Blues lifted the Asian Club Championship on two occasions and won four other Continental titles, but remain in pursuit of their maiden AFC Champions League title.
On Saturday, they face Urawa Red Diamonds, the same club that denied them glory two years ago, beating them in the final 2-1 on aggregate.

Riyadh: A repeat of the 2017 AFC Champions League final sees Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal host Japan's Urawa Red Diamonds in the first leg of the decider on Saturday.
Two years ago, the two sides shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at King Fahd International Stadium, before Urawa snatched a 1-0 victory in the return leg in Saitama to lift the AFC Champions League trophy for the second time in their history.
Al Hilal have since moved base to King Saud University Stadium, where they welcome the Japanese side with both teams eyeing a result that can make their job less complicated when they lock horns again in two weeks' time.

Riyadh: Urawa Red Diamonds midfielder Kazuki Nagasawa believes keeping a clean sheet is the first priority for his side when they face Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal in the first leg of the 2019 AFC Champions League final on Saturday.
Nagasawa was part of the Urawa side that snatched a 1-1 draw in Riyadh at the same stage two years ago, setting the foundation for their 2-1 aggregate victory which delivered their second AFC Champions League trophy in 2017.

The Continental heavyweights are a familiar sight at this level with four appearances in the competition's climax between them. For the men at their helms, however, this will be a new experience.
Al Hilal coach Razvan Lucescu has prior experience of taking a side deep into the AFC Champions League after he led Qatar's El Jaish into the knockout stage of the 2013 edition, while Urawa's tactician Tsuyoshi Otsuki has been among the Urawa backroom staff during previous campaigns.
