Bangkok: Kaya FC-Iloilo head coach Graham Harvey was beaming with joy after his side made history by securing their place in the 2021 AFC Champions League group stage after beating Shanghai Port FC 1-0 in the playoff on Wednesday.
Audie Menzie’s 16th minute header proved enough for the Philippines club to claim the win and advance to Group F alongside defending AFC Champions League winners Ulsan Hyundai FC, Viettel FC and hosts BG Pathum United, who they will face on Saturday in their opening match.
