Hong applauds players as Ulsan Hyundai stay on course to defend AFC Champions League title

Ulsan: Hong Myung-bo praised his team and the performance of goalkeeper Jo Hyeon-woo as Ulsan Hyundai kept their quest for a second straight AFC Champions League title alive with a 3-2 penalty shoot-out win over Kawasaki Frontale at Ulsan Munsu Stadium on Tuesday.

Jo kept out Akihiro Ienaga’s penalty in the fifth round of spot-kicks after the game had ended goalless through 120 minutes, with his save setting up Yoon Bit-garam to hit the winner for the two-time champions.
