Riyadh: Al Jazira FSC head coach Marcel Keizer praised his players for showing a strong mindset in their 1-0 victory over India’s Mumbai City in Group B of the AFC Champions League™ 2022 on Thursday.

Ali Mabkhout scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot in the 39th minute to steer Al Jazira to the first victory of their campaign.

Foolad's Coulibaly delighted to deliver winning blow

Jeddah: It was a perfect night for Malian central defender Moussa Coulibaly who scored the winning goal to secure Foolad Khouzestan’s first victory in the AFC Champions League 2022™.

On a night when the match reached boiling point after Foolad was left frustrated by 10-man Ahal FC’s resolute defence, it was Coulibaly who kept cool to head-in the crucial 97th minute winner.

Coulibaly put in another good shift in the heart of defence to help his team secure their second clean sheet in the campaign where the Iranian side sit in second place on five points, behind only to Al Gharafa on goal difference in Group C.
