Jeddah: Shabab Al Ahli Dubai have hit top form when it matters most with head coach Mahdi Ali urging his charges to win their  final two AFC Champions League™ 2022 Group C matches, starting with Ahal FC on Friday.

It looks like it will be a photo finish in Group C with Shabab Al Ahli currently in second place on six points, two behind leaders Foolad Khouzestan FC who face third place Al Gharafa on the penultimate match day. 
 
Shabab Al Ahli secured their first win three days ago in sensational style, scoring eight goals from six different scorers against Al Gharafa to give them the impetus to chase for top spot in the immensely tight group where the leading three teams are all in the running to advance to the next stage.

Pathum Thani: BG Pathum United kept their unbeaten AFC Champions League™ 2022 record intact with a 5-0 win over United City FC at Pathum Thani Stadium on Thursday.

Makoto Teguramori’s men were at times challenged by the Filipino outfit, but Kanokpon Puspakom’s opener gave them room to breathe before a four-goal avalanche saw the margin blow out late in the game.
