Shanghai: Shanghai SIPG will look to continue their perfect start in Group F of the AFC Champions League ahead of the visit of Australia’s Melbourne Victory to Shanghai Stadium on Tuesday.
Brazilian Elkeson scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 victory over Kawasaki Frontale last week as the Chinese Super League side brought an end to a run that had seen them lose five successive matches on the road.
Leroy George netted twice and Rhys Williams scored the third as Melbourne thrice came from behind to draw 3-3 with Ulsan Hyundai on Matchday One in what was one of the most entertaining games of the opening round of fixtures.
Shanghai SIPG have a strong home record in the competition, winning five from six in the 2017 campaign, while Melbourne have found life tough outside Australia and have never won an away game in 16 attempts on the continent.
