Al Shabab came into the game with a perfect record from their two opening games, and they had also yet to concede, having beaten both Mumbai City and Al Jazira with the same 3-0 score line. Buraidah: Al Taawoun returned to winning ways on Thursday, defeating ten-man Sepahan 3-0 at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium on Matchday Three of the AFC Champions League™ 2022 Group D.

Both teams came into the match off the back of 1-0 defeats, with Al Taawoun having lost to Pakhtakor and Sepahan beaten by Al Duhail, and after the latter collected the three points against Pakhtakor earlier in the day, it was crucial for the two sides to fight for the three points to remain in contention at the halfway point.

Buraidah: An electric encounter between Al Duhail SC and Pakhtakor FC ended with a late 3-2 win for the Qatar Stars League side in Group D of the AFC Champions League™ 2022 on Thursday.

Pakhtakor had taken the lead twice at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, but Edmilson Juinor's heroics in the second half saw Al Duhail secure an incredible comeback.
