Ulsan: Al Jazira striker Ricardo Oliveira won the AFC Champions League Top Goalscorer Award after the Brazilian's tally of 12 goals could not be surpassed following Saturday's final as Korea Republic's Ulsan Hyundai recorded a 3-0 win over Saudi Arabia's Al Ahli.
Oliveira netted 10 goals as the UAE Pro League side advanced from the Group Stage for the first time before his two goals could not stop Al Jazira losing to eventual finalists Al Ahli on penalties in the Round of 16 following a thrilling 3-3 draw after extra-time.
Al Ittihad's Naif Hazazi remained in second place on the list after his eight goals helped the two-time AFC Champions League winners reach the semi-finals, where they eventually also succumbed to fellow Saudi League side Al Ahli.
With Brazilian striker Rafinha (Rafael dos Santos de Oliveira) netting his fifth goal in as many games in the final, he moved up to third place alongside Victor Simões (Victor Simões de Oliveira) after his compatriot was unable to add to his seven goals in the final.
Rafinha scored two goals for Japan's Gamba Osaka during the Group Stage before playing a crucial role in Ulsan's run to the final following his mid-season switch to the K-League.
The Brazilian scored the only goal of the quarter-final first leg win over Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal before netting a first half double in the return fixture in Jeddah as Ulsan posted a 5-0 win on aggregate.
And Rafinha was also on target as Ulsan recorded a 3-1 win over Uzbekistan's Bunyodkor in the first leg of their semi-final, with Kim Ho-gon's side eventually securing a place in the final with a 5-1 win on aggregate.
Ulsan captain Kwak Tae-hwi then opened the scoring in the final before Rafinha and Kim Seung-yong netted in the second half as the K-League side won the AFC Champions League title for the first time.
