Rojas wary of predicting Melbourne Victory's AFC Champions League chances
Doha: Melbourne Victory departed for Qatar on Thursday with their New Zealand international Marcos Rojas refusing to predict how well his team can perform when they finally resume their 2020 AFC Champions League campaign next week.
The Australian side, who qualified for the group phase by defeating 2018 champions Kashima Antlers in the playoffs, have already played twice in Group E, kicking off their campaign with a 1-0 win over Chiangrai United before slipping to a narrow loss at the hands of FC Seoul.

Doha: A brace of second-half Li Shenglong headers helped Shanghai SIPG come from behind to defeat Sydney FC 2-1 at Khalifa International Stadium in Group H of the 2020 AFC Champions League on Thursday.
Shanghai SIPG were coming into their campaign opener against an FC Sydney side they had played twice and drew on both occasions last term, while Steve Corica’s men had collected one point from two games in the competition and were in desperate need for a victory to stay in contention.
Veteran Yu inspired after MVP display for Shanghai Shenhua in AFC Champions League opener
Doha: Despite the absence of attacking duo Giovanni Moreno and Kim Shin-wook, Shanghai Shenhua were able to kick-off their 2020 AFC Champions League campaign with a 2-1 victory over Perth Glory on Wednesday thanks to goals from Peng Xinli and MVP Yu Hanchao.
The Chinese Super League side had seen their February fixtures postponed as the COVID-19 pandemic had already spread in Shanghai, meaning they arrived in Doha with six games still to play, the first of which saw them face Australia’s Perth Glory who sat bottom of Group F with no points from one game.

Doha: Choi Kang-hee heaped praise on his Shanghai Shenhua side’s commitment to the cause after they sealed a first-up 2-1 AFC Champions League group stage win against Perth Glory on Wednesday.
With some of their biggest names unavailable, the Chinese club scored twice before half-time before surviving a late Perth surge to secure their first win in their 2020 campaign, and their first in the competition since 2009.
But while it was Shenhua’s blistering start which secured them the points, two-time AFC Champions League winner Choi was also pleased with the way his charges saw out the game, played four days after their arrival in the Qatari capital.

Kuala Lumpur: New Radiant's Ali Ashfaq will take on South China AA's Chan Siu Ki in the final of the AFC Cup Bracket Challenge.
Maldivian star Ashfaq's solo goal - one of five he scored in that match - for New Radiant against Persibi Bojonegoro in the 2013 AFC Cup saw him defeat Hanoi FC's Vietnam international Nguyen Quang Hai in the semi-final.
Ashfaq polled 54.68 % of the votes to see of Quang Hai's challenge.
South China's Chan Siu Ki through to AFC Cup Bracket Challenge final
Kuala Lumpur: South China AA's Chan Siu Ki's lovely strike from the 2015 edition has made the final of the AFC Cup Bracket Challenge.
Chan's goal against Malaysia's Pahang sealed the tie for South China AA and the former Hong Kong international will now face off against Ali Ashfaq of Maldives side New Radiant in the final which kicks off on Wednesday.
