Dubai: Morocco international midfielder Abdelaziz Barrada has signed for United Arab Emirates side Al Nasr ahead of a new domestic season and the club’s AFC Champions League quarter-final campaign.
The talented 27-year-old has agreed a three-year deal, a move which sees him leave France's Marseille and return to the region where he enjoyed a successful 2013/14 spell with Al Jazira.
“I am very happy to sign for Al Nasr. I hope to do as well as everyone expects me to,” Barrada told reporters.
“I would like to thank the President of the club and the fans for their trust in me. I hope to win a lot of trophies for the team.”
Al Nasr get their last eight AFC Champions League showdown with El Jaish underway in Qatar on August 24, before hosting the second leg at the Al Maktoum Stadium in Dubai on September 14.
