Gwangju: Ulsan Hyundai ended their four-match winless streak on Sunday as the two-time K-League champions edged Gwangju 1-0 in their first domestic fixture following their hard-fought ACL 2012 Group F draw with Brisbane Roar.
Last Wednesday's 1-1 tie with the A-League champions on ACL Matchday 3 was the fourth game in a row in which Ulsan had failed to record a win following their 2-2 draws with FC Tokyo (in the Champions League) and Sangju Sangmu either side of their 1-0 loss to Daegu.
But that changed at the Guus Hiddink Stadium in Gwangju thanks to Kim Shin-wook's 67th minute winner, which took Ulsan's tally to 13 points from six matches putting them joint-top of the K-League alongside Suwon Samsung Bluewings and Jeju United, who lead the way on goal difference.
Ulsan are next in AFC Champions League action on April 17 when they travel to Brisbane for the return fixture with the Roar.
