Melbourne: Dario Vidosic bagged a brace as Adelaide United continued the build-up for their 2012 AFC Champions League quarter-final clash against Bunyodkor with a 2-1 friendly victory over Melbourne Heart on Tuesday.
Vidosic, who was also on target as the Reds defeated a South Australia State Select last week, broke the deadlock with a stunning long-range strike just ten minutes into the match at Epping Stadium and netted the winner from the penalty spot deep into the second-half after Golgol Mebrahtu had leveled for Heart just after the half-hour mark.
The 2008 AFC Champions League runners-up are next in action on Friday when they will be looking to do the double over Melbourne's A-League sides when they face Melbourne Victory at Aurora Stadium in Launceston on Friday.
Adelaide, who have already played Bunyodkor in the Group Stage of this year's ACL, winning 2-1 in Tashkent before playing out a goalless draw at home, entertain the Uzbeks in the first-leg of their last-eight battle before travelling to Central Asia for the return fixture on October 3.
