Pathum Thani: Melbourne City FC boss Patrick Kisnboro believes his players are thriving off the pitch ahead of Thursday’s AFC Champions League™ 2022 Matchday Three clash against Jeonnam Dragons.

The reigning Australian champions and current Group G leaders come into the fixture as warm favourites after resting several key players and still securing a comprehensive 3-0 win against United City FC on their last hit out for what was their first victory on the Asian stage.

Pathum Thani: BG Pathum United head coach Makoto Teguramori has hailed the strength of the contribution made by his side’s local players ahead of Thursday’s AFC Champions League™ 2022 Matchday Three clash against United City FC.

Four points from their opening two matches has the group hosts believing a second successive trip to the Round of 16 is well within their grasp, and they’ll have the opportunity to further strengthen their position when they face a United City outfit which is still searching for their first point in Group G.

Ho Chi Minh: Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors head coach Kim Sang-sik was in a buoyant mood after his side edged Yokohama F. Marinos 1-0 in their AFC Champions League™ 2022 Group H match on Tuesday.

Having opened their campaign with a disappointing 0-0 draw with Sydney FC, Kim was glad to see his players deliver against their Japanese opponents.

Buriram: Head coach Miguel Angel Lotina feels there are still aspects his Vissel Kobe side need to improve despite their AFC Champions League™ 2022 Group J opening match 2-1 win over Hong Kong outfit Kitchee SC on Tuesday. 

Vissel opened the scoring on the 15-minute mark through Yuta Goke and then doubled their lead when Shion Inoue struck with five minutes remaining before having to survive a late scare after Alex Akande netted for Kitchee in added time.

Disappointment for Sydney's Corica, Kiatisuk proud of Hoang Anh Gia Lai

Ho Chi Minh: Sydney FC head coach Steve Corica did not hide his disappointment following his side's 1-1 draw with Hoang Anh Gia Lai in Group H of the AFC Champions League™ 2022 on Tuesday.

Although the Vietnamese side had opened the scoring through Vu Van Thanh's strike from distance in the 26th minute, Sydney had more than their fair share of chances to win the match.

In the end, substitute Trent Buhagiar's header moments after coming on was all Sydney had to show for their efforts and Corica admitted his disappointment, with the Australian side having opened their campaign with a goalless draw with Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors.
