AFC Cup ASEAN Zone Groups F and G to be played in Vietnam
Kuala Lumpur: The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has been confirmed as the host Member Association for the AFC Cup 2020 ASEAN Zone Groups F and G matches, which are scheduled to take place over three match days from September 23 to September 29, 2020.
The matches in Group F will take place at the Thong Nhat Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City while the Group G ties will be staged in Quang Ninh’s Cam Pha Stadium.

Tagliabue raring to link up with UAE stars Mabkhout, Abdulrahman
Dubai: Sebastian Tagliabue is relishing the prospect of taking to the field with new international teammates Ali Mabkhout and Omar Abdulrahman as the Argentina-born front man moves closer to making his international debut for the United Arab Emirates.
The veteran Al Nasr forward received his UAE passport earlier in the year and was included in the training squad of new head coach Jorge Luis Pinto last week as the West Asian side prepare for their up-coming Asian Qualifiers Group G matches in October and November.
And the 35-year-old, who has been a prolific scorer since moving to the UAE in 2013, is looking forward to striking up a potent attacking partnership with the Al Jazeera duo over the coming weeks and months.
Doha: Rodrigo Tabata is looking forward to a successful return with Al Sadd after rejoining the reigning Qatar Stars League champions.
“I’m extremely happy to return to the team and I promise everyone that I will give all that I can,” said Brazilian Tabata to the Al Sadd website. “I hope that I can fulfill the expectations of the club administration and the fans who want a lot from me.”
The 39-year-old attacking midfielder said his knowledge of the club and the players will help him adapt quickly.
