Group A: Al Futuwa SC (SYR) 0-1 Al Nahda (OMA)

Mekkah: Al Nahda completed back-to-back wins over Syria’s Al Futuwa on Monday as the Omanis notched up a 1-0 victory to improve their prospects of a place in the next phase of the AFC Cup™ 2023/2024.

Issam Al Sabhi’s first half goal was enough to earn Hamad Al Azani’s side the three points despite Abdullah Fawaz’s 67th minute miss from the penalty spot as Al Nahda moved onto nine points from their four games in Group A.

Only the winners of the group are certain to qualify and the win strengthens Al Nahda’s position at the summit, with the game between second placed Jabal Al Mukaber and Al Ahed postponed.

Ta'if: Iraq’s Al Zawraa SC carved out a 2-1 win over Nejmeh SC of Lebanon in an AFC Cup™ 2023/2024 Group C match played at King Fahd Sports City Stadium on Monday.

It was Al Zawraa’s second straight win over their Lebanese rivals after a 4-1 victory on Matchday Three in the reverse fixture, the seven points collected thus far keeping alive their hopes of progression to the knockout stage.

Group D: Nassaji Mazandaran (IRN) 1-3 Navbahor (UZB)

Tehran: Navbahor kept the heat up at the top of Group D in the AFC Champions League™ 2023/24 on Monday with a convincing 3-1 win against Nassaji Mazandaran at the Azadi stadium.

The win took the Uzbekistan side to 10 points, level with Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal SFC, who defeated Mumbai City 2-0.

Group B: FC Nasaf (UZB) 1-1 Sharjah FC (UAE)

Qarshi: Uzbekistan’s FC Nasaf and the United Arab Emirates’ Sharjah FC played out a 1-1 draw in Group B of the AFC Champions League™ 2023-24 at Markaziy Stadium on Monday.

Nasaf’s Jambuli Jigauri saw a penalty saved and a goal disallowed for offside in the opening 15 minutes before Moussa Marega broke the deadlock soon after as Sharjah took a slender lead into the interval.
 
Mateus Lima levelled with ten minutes to play then Sharjah goalkeeper Adel Al Hosani was sent off just moments later for an off-the-ball incident before Alibek Davronov also saw red for a second bookable offence as the game ended level and Sharjah remained a point ahead of Nasaf at the top of the standings.

Navi Mumbai: Second half goals from Michael and Aleksandar Mitrovic secured Al Hilal SFC a 2-0 win over 10-man Mumbai City on Monday to move the Saudi Pro League side to the verge of qualifying for the knockout rounds of the AFC Champions League™ 2023-24.

Michael’s 62nd minute header came after Mehtab Singh was sent off for a second bookable offence eight minutes earlier as the hosts’ stubborn resistance was finally broken by the four-time continental champions. Mitrovic headed in the second five minutes from time.
 
Al Hilal move on to 10 points from their first four games in Group D while Mumbai are bottom without a point.

Erbil: Air Force Club of Iraq produced a memorable 2-0 win against two-time winners Ittihad FC at the Franso Hariri Stadium in Group C of the AFC Champions League™ 2023/24 on Monday.

Having lost the previous outing between the two clubs two weeks ago in the dying embers of the match, Air Force Club had extra incentive to get one over their opponents and they made no mistake, controlling large swathes of the game and limiting the reigning Saudi Pro League  champions to minimal touches and possession.

Chonburi: Thailand’s Bangkok FC made full use of home advantage to beat Hualien Women’s Football Team of Chinese Taipei 2-0 in their AFC Women's Club Championship™ 2023 Group A match on Monday.

The Thai champions joined Urawa Red Diamonds Ladies on three points with the Japanese side having opened their campaign with an emphatic 8-0 win over India's Sree Gokulam Kerala FC.

Tashkent: Korea Republic’s Hyundai Steel Red Angels Women’s FC defeated FC Nasaf of Uzbekistan 2-0 in their AFC Women's Club Championship™ 2023 Group B opener on Monday.

The result meant Hyundai Steel Red Angels kept pace with Australia’s Sydney FC, who defeated Islamic Republic of Iran’s Bam Khatoon 3-0 earlier on Monday.
