Group J: Lee Man cruise past Athletic 220 to advance to AFC Cup knockout stage on perfect note 

Hong Kong: Hong Kong’s Lee Man swept aside Athletic 220 of Mongolia 5-1 in their final 2021 AFC Cup Group J tie on Tuesday.

Lee Man, who already confirmed their knockout stage spot after defeating Tainan City FC of Chinese Taipei 4-1 on Matchday Two, took a two goal advantage at the break and added three more in the second half before Athletic 220 pulled one back late in the game.

The win kept Lee Man perfect after three Matchdays to finish three points ahead of Eastern Long Lions, who defeated Tainan City 1-0.

Group J: Eastern Long Lions edge Tainan City to bring curtains down on AFC Cup campaign

Hong Kong: Eastern Long Lions of Hong Kong defeated Chinese Taipei's Tainan City FC 1-0 in their final 2021 AFC Cup Group J match at the Hong Kong Stadium on Tuesday. 

With Hong Kong's Lee Man having already sealed top spot in the group and a place in the knockout stage, Eastern Long Lions finished second on six points with Tainan City third. Mongolia's Athletic 220 Club - defeated 5-1 by Lee Man on Tuesday - fourth.

Group F: Ulsan Hyundai defeat BG Pathum United to stay firmly in control of AFC Champions League hopes

Bangkok: Two first half goals saw Ulsan Hyundai FC beat BG Pathum United 2-0 to continue their perfect start in Group F of the 2021 AFC Champions League on Tuesday. 

Kim Min-jun and Lee Chung-yong struck in the first half to secure all three points as Ulsan Hyundai overtook BG Pathum United at the top of the standings.

Kim savours Pohang Steelers’ AFC Champions League victory against Johor Darul Ta’zim

Bangkok: Head coach Kim Gi-Dong was all smiles after his side came back fighting to register a 4-1 victory over Malaysia’s Johor Darul Ta’zim in Group G of the 2021 AFC Champions League on Monday.

Pohang rallied back with goals from Borys Tashchy, Kang Sang-Woo, Kwon Gi-pyo and Lim Sang-hyub after Johor Darul Ta'zim took the lead through Leandro Velázquez.

The win was certainly a morale booster for Pohang, who sit second on the table and are three points ahead of Johor Darul Ta’zim, while Japan’s Nagoya Grampus are top with nine.
