West Zone Final: Al Seeb Club cruise past Al Riffa

Muscat: A mesmerising second-half performance by Al Seeb saw them become the first-ever Omani club to reach the AFC Cup™ final with an emphatic 4-0 victory against Bahrain’s Al Riffa in the 2022 West Zone final at Seeb Sports Stadium on Tuesday.

Al Seeb await the winners between PFC Sogdiana of Uzbekistan and Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur City FC who face-off on Wednesday in the Inter-Zone final in Jizzakh.

Kuwait City: Japan came back from a goal down to beat Indonesia 3-2 to advance to the AFC Futsal Asian Cup™ Kuwait 2022 semi-finals on Tuesday. 

The three-time champions had to work hard for victory against an Indonesian side who held their own for long periods of the absorbing quarter-final encounter. 

Japan will face Uzbekistan, who defeated Kuwait 3-0, in Thursday's semi-final.

In accordance with Article 32.1 of the AFC Statutes (Edition 2022), the AFC’s Member Associations (MAs) were notified on August 15, 2022 that the election of members for the AFC Executive Committee (term 2023-2027) would be held at the 33rd AFC Congress in Manama, Bahrain, on February 1 and 2, 2023.

The MAs had until October 1, 2022 to submit the nomination of their candidates for election to the AFC Executive Committee, as per the requirements set out in the AFC Statutes (Edition 2022)  and the AFC Electoral Code (Edition 2022) for the following positions:
