Bangkok: AGMK FC of Uzbekistan bounced back in style from their opening day loss to defeat Iraq’s Naft Al Wasat 5-3 in Group B of the AFC Futsal Club Championship Thailand 2019 on Friday.
Naft Al Wasat, who defeated Qatar’s Al Rayyan 9-4 in their opening match, pressured AGMK early on when Salim Faisal fired his shot into the side netting following a set-piece situation.
AGMK, however, were equally adept in attack and Ikhtiyor Ropiev - who went on to score a hat-trick - forced a save from Naft Al Wasat goalkeeper Yahya Abdulnoor in the third minute with a long-range effort.

Bangkok: Naft Al Wasat of Iraq their AFC Futsal Club Championship Thailand 2019 Group B campaign off to a great start after defeating Qatar’s Al Rayan 9-4 at the Bangkok Arena on Wednesday.
Naft Al Wasat took time in settling into the match as Al Rayyan enjoyed the early advantage with two chances in the opening minutes.
Al Rayyan’s Said Albulushi was left unmarked on the right flank but his effort in the first minute failed to find the target and he wasted another opportunity to score two minutes later from a similar position.

Bangkok: Thai Son Nam of Vietnam came back from a goal down to defeat Uzbekistan’s AGMK 4-1 in Group B of the AFC Futsal Club Championship Thailand 2019 on Wednesday.
AGMK pressured the Vietnam club from the start with quick counter-attacking play which would have yielded goals if not for the alertness of Thai Son Nam custodian Ho Van Y.
Davron Choriev, Akbar Usmonov and Anaskhon Rakhmatov were a thorn in Thai Son Nam’s side as the trio controlled play in their attacking half.

Bangkok: Vamos FC and Bank of Beirut were made to sweat but walked away with wins in their Group C opening matches at the AFC Futsal Club Championship Thailand 2019 on Thursday.
Vamos had their backs against the wall against Soro Company, who fought back from four goals down to level the tie but Dennis Guna Bawana broke the deadlock which spurred Vamos to a 6-4 victory at the Bangkok Stadium.
Reza Fallahzadeh’s side lead the Group C standings on goal difference ahead of Lebanon’s Bank of Beirut, who collected three points from their 4-2 win over Victoria University College.

Bangkok: Defending champions Mes Sungun Varseqan of Islamic Republic of Iran cruised to an 8-2 victory over Kuwait’s Kazma SC in Group D of the AFC Futsal Club Championship Thailand 2019 on Thursday.
Mes Sungun raced off the blocks as they utilised a high pressing game against Kazma, who are making their first appearance in the competition.
The Kuwaiti side, however, were quick on the counter-attack as they kept Mes Sungun on their toes and were always a danger going forward.

Bangkok: Nagoya Oceans of Japan showed their class as they came from behind to defeat Al Dhafra Sports and Cultural Club of the United Arab Emirates 4-2 in Group D of the AFC Futsal Club Championship Thailand 2019 on Thursday.
Three-time champions Nagoya Oceans dominated the early play and had a look at goal in the third minute when captain Ryuta Hoshi found space down the middle but his long-range effort sailed over the bar.
In a split second, Al Dhafra were in the lead, when against the run of play, Fabio Daniel pounced on a mistake by Oceans’ defenders before sending an angled pass to Hatakeyama Bruno Takashi to stab home the opener.
