Preview - Quarter-final: Bank of Beirut vs Mes Sungun Varzeqan

Bangkok: Defending champions Mes Sungun Varseqan of Islamic Republic of Iran will face familiar foes when they take on Lebanon’s Bank of Beirut in the AFC Futsal Club Championship Thailand 2019 quarter-finals at the Bangkok Arena on Wednesday. 

Bank of Beirut will face a tough challenge when they face Mes Sungun for the second time in the Continental competition, with the Iranian side having won their previous encounter 3-1 in last year’s group stage.

Victory against Mes Sungun on Wednesday will see the Lebanese side make their second appearance in the semi-finals, while the defending champions are aiming to create history by winning consecutive titles.

Bangkok: Bangkok: It will be an explosive encounter when Nagoya Oceans of Japan take on Indonesia’s Vamos FC in the AFC Futsal Club Championship Thailand 2019 quarter-finals at the Bangkok Arena on Wednesday. 

Three-time champions Nagoya Oceans will be facing Vamos for the second time in the Continental competition, with the Japanese side having won their previous encounter 4-0 in last year’s group stage.

Vamos are making their second appearance in the quarter-finals after creating history at home in 2018 when they reached the knockout stage of the competition.

The hosts, who are vying for their maiden title, will be aiming to surpass their 2010 feat of finishing fourth in the tournament.

AGMK have never faced Port FC and the Uzbekistan club will be hoping to continue their impressive form in the last-eight.

Bangkok: Thai Son Nam head coach Pham Minh Giang knows his side will face a stiff challenge against China PR’s Shenzhen Nanling Tielang in the AFC Futsal Club Championship Thailand 2019 quarter-finals at the Bangkok Arena on Wednesday.

Thai Son Nam are unbeaten in the competition having scored 15 goals, and will be hoping to continue their run to reach the semi-finals but have Shenzhen standing in their way.

Shenzhen and Thai Son Nam have faced each other twice. Their 2013 encounter ended in a 2-2 stalemate while in 2015, the Vietnam club recorded a 5-1 victory.

Bangkok: The lineup for the AFC Futsal Club Championship Thailand 2019 quarter-finals was finalised on Monday.

While the identities of the four teams from Groups A and B were confirmed following the conclusion of Matchday Five on Sunday, the final round of matches in Groups C and D on Monday determined the other quarter-final ties.
