Qualifiers - Group J: Mongolia share points with Thailand, Malaysia defeat Laos
Ulaanbaatar: Mongolia came from a goal down to earn a 1-1 draw with Thailand while Malaysia beat Laos 1-0 in their opening AFC U23 Asian Cup Uzbekistan 2022 Group J qualifying ties at the MFF Stadium on Monday.
The win gives Malaysia an early advantage in qualifying for Uzbekistan 2022 with only the group winners assured of advancing.
Malaysia will target their second win when they play Mongolia on Thursday while Thailand and Laos will be aiming for their opening victories.
