Auckland: Mitchell Duke and Jason Cummings were both on target as an impressive second-half showing earned Australia a 2-0 win over New Zealand in Auckland on Sunday, with teenage sensation Garang Kuol shining in a 17-minute cameo off the bench for the Socceroos.
Duke’s 54th minute header gave the Australians the lead before debutant Cummings struck from the penalty spot with 10 minutes remaining after Kuol had unlocked the New Zealand defence with his blistering pace.
