Seoul: Defending champions Ulsan HD FC extended their lead at the top of the table with a come-from-behind win over second-place Gimcheon Sangmu FC as the regular K League 1 season came to an end.

In Japan, Sanfrecce Hiroshima stayed in front of the chasing pack with a 2-1 defeat of Jubilo Iwata.

Wuhan: Tereza Engesha scored in the seventh minute of added time as Hyundai Steel Red Angels Women’s FC of Korea Republic forced a 2-2 draw with UAE’s Abu Dhabi Country Club in their AFC Women's Champions League™ 2024/25 Group A tie on Sunday.

Despite the late draw, Abu Dhabi confirmed a top two finish in the group and a place in the knockout stage after having defeated China PR’s Wuhan Jiangda Women’s FC 2-1 on Thursday.

Red Angels will face Wuhan Jiangda on Wednesday to decide the second automatic spot into the quarter-finals.

Having been stunned 2-1 by Abu Dhabi Country Club in their opener, Wuhan Jiangda made no mistakes against Sabah, effectively sealing the tie at the Hankou Culture Sports Centre by taking a 3-0 lead at half-time.
