Doha: Al Hilal SFC moved within eight points of the summit with a win over Al Khaleej as the Saudi Pro League moves into the business end of the season.

UAE Pro League leaders Shabab Al Ahli Dubai were held by Al Ain in a top-of-the-table clash but still have a healthy advantage while Al Duhail continue to set the pace in Qatar.

Pipob warns Thailand against complacency

Bangkok: Head coach Pipob On-mo wants Thailand to steer clear of complacency in the AFC U17 Asian Cup™ 2023 on home soil in June.

Thailand will have ASEAN rivals Malaysia and Laos as well as Yemen for company in Group A with Pipob saying all four teams have an equal chance of advancing to the quarter-finals.

Bell extends Korea Republic contract

Seoul: Colin Bell's contract as head coach of the Korea Republic women's national team has been extended till December 2024.

The Englishman's current deal was set to expire after the FIFA Women's World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023.
 
Under the new contract, Bell will also serve as an adviser for the various women's national teams and will hold regular meetings with youth national team coaches, the Korea Football Association said in a statement.
